University Chorus Holding Free Community Concert

Ohio State Marion’s University Chorus will present a free community concert entitled, How Can I Keep from Singing, Monday November 28, 7:30 p.m., in Morrill Hall Auditorium, 1465 Mount Vernon Avenue, Marion, Ohio.

The campus community and the public are invited to this free open concert, which will offer a variety of choral music from several time periods and cultures. Selections will include “Kua Rongo Mai Koe,” a song of welcome from the Maori tribe of New Zealand, “Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light” from The Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach, and a setting of the Quaker hymn “How Can I Keep From Singing” by contemporary American composer Gwyneth Walker.
