Star Helps Community Celebrate the Season

The Star Players, Inc. will present their annual Christmas Cabaret, Thursday, December 15, 7 p.m. at the Star Theatre, 121 W. Wyandot Avenue Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

The show brings together local talent, including some Marion residents, performing their favorite traditional Christmas carols, as well as a few unique songs to celebrate the season, all interwoven with the feeling of community and family.

Reprising their annual role as masters of ceremony are Upper Sandusky residents Kip Barth and Jim Ruhlen.  The show features a number of individual vocalists and instrumentalists of all ages, from children to adult, and in some cases entire families that have performed at and supported the Star Theatre over the years, as well as a host of group numbers including performances by the Star Kids, Marion First Church of the Nazarene Men’s a cappella group NINE, and Upper Sandusky based Great Lakes vocal band 4 The Record.

Tickets are available in advance by calling 419-294-1411 or at the door the evening of the event.  Tickets are $7 per person.  All proceeds for Christmas Cabaret benefit The Star Theatre Scholarship, awarded annually to a deserving local young person to assist with college.
