MTC Offers Online ABLE Opportunity
Marion Technical College ABLE is offering a special introductory opportunity for adults interested in the free on-line GED Test preparation program. This free program can also benefit adults who want to strengthen their basic skills before enrolling in college.
The five session program includes a required orientation as well as practical skills for online learning. Participants who complete the five day introductory program will be eligible to continue in the free online GED program at their own pace. Those who continue must have access to a computer with internet.
The free introductory program will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, February 6 through February 22. Sessions will be held on the Marion Tech Campus located at 1467 Mount Vernon Avenue.

Any adult who needs a GED should act now. A new GED test will be released in January 2014. It is anticipated that the new test will be more expensive and include higher level skills. Marion Technical College ABLE provides free GED instruction.
