Marion Gas Station Robbed on Sunday

The Marion Police Department says officers responded to a robbery report at MotoMart, 691 West Center Street, on Sunday at just before 1:00am. Investigators say a threatening note had been given to the teller and the suspect then forcefully pulled money from the register.

No weapon was shown and the suspect fled the store. Several responding officers conducted a search, but were unable to locate the man.

The suspect is described as a white male, late teens to early twenties, about 5’11” tall, black hooded sweatshirt with a grey toboggan under the hood, grey sweatpants, and black high top tennis shoes. The suspect also appeared unshaven and had dark colored hair.
