River Valley Youth Take Two Against Harding

River Valley hosted Harding in youth football Sunday, September 19, with three very tight games. In the opener, RV freshman (4th grade) stretched their record to 2-0 with a strong defensive effort as they won 12-0.

The second game was tight as a game could be. Harding JV (5th grade) tied the game late with a 97-yard touchdown run and completed the extra point for a 7-6 win.

In the night cap, RV Varsity (6th grade) pitched its second shutout of the year in as many games as they beat Harding 13-0. Teamwork was the name of the day for the Varsity.

River Valley will be in action next Sunday as the Freshman play at Wynford while the JV and Varsity host Northmor.
